Island Reproductive Health Initiative (IRHI) was created in 2010 to fill the need of Orcas Island’s young people’s access to local, timely, confidential reproductive health care as well as accurate education around sexuality.
IRHI is a not-for-profit organization that operates under the umbrella of the Orcas Island Community Foundation. The organization is funded by donations and grants.
IRHI’s mission is to help prevent unwanted pregnancies and the spread of STDs in the Orcas community.
